If you’ve experienced property damage and plan to file a claim, do you know what your claim is worth?  What if your claim has been underpaid or denied? If being treated fairly and getting paid quickly are important to you, please consider hiring Phoenix Claims Consulting as your public adjuster to represent your best interest and manage your claim through its finish.

Our team of property insurance adjusters represent commercial and residential policy holders who have property damage insurance claims for fire and smoke, water, broken or frozen pipes, drain line leaks, foundation or slab leaks, mold damage, wind, tornado, hail, roof damage, hurricane or tropical storms, flood, mechanical or boiler failure, business interruption, condominium and homeowner associations, loss by collapse, vandalism or theft, earthquake, sinkhole, 3rd party liability and others.

WHAT IS A PUBLIC ADJUSTER? HOW CAN YOU HELP ME?

First, it's important to know what exactly an adjuster is.  An "Adjuster" is the person that determines the amount of money you should receive for your property damage. There are three types of adjusters.

Company Adjuster or Staff Adjuster:
Adjusters that are on the staff of a specific insurance company

Independent Adjuster:
Adjusters that work for various insurance companies

Public Adjuster:
Adjusters that work for the public, not for the insurance company. This Adjuster is referred to as a "Public Adjuster," sometimes referred to as "Private Adjusters". The Public Adjuster will file your

claim, work directly with your Insurance Company's adjuster, and ultimately see to it that you get every penny you are entitled to receive for your damages. Although there is a fee associated with hiring a Public Adjuster, the outcome is we guarantee to get you more than the insurance company would offer where you don't have to pay us for our services.  For our services, Public Adjusters receive a percentage of the money they collect on your behalf, and this percentage may vary slightly with different companies.

"According to a recent OPAGGA (Office of Program and Policy Analysis & Government Accountability) study in the State of Florida showed that public adjusters negotiate up to 747% larger insurance company settlement for commercial business and home owner insurance property loss claims than the insurance company was planning to pay out."

YOUR EXPERT ON YOUR TEAM

You can safeguard your interests by hiring Phoenix Claims Consulting as your public adjuster. When you submit a claim to an insurance company, you face a highly trained adjuster who represents the insurance company's interests and seeks to minimize your settlement.  That same adjuster has access to experts and service providers whose primary clients are insurance companies, so they regularly give favorable opinions and keep costs low for the insurance companies.  A public adjuster's sole responsibility is to represent you - the insured. An adjuster with experience and expertise is obviously better equipped to obtain a more favorable adjustment then you could on your own. Not only do get the benefit or your own adjuster, you get the benefit of our expansive network of experts, architects, engineers, contractors and other service providers that will work alongside us through the process.  Insurance company adjusters work for, report to, and are paid by, the insurance company. We find that often times they decide to repair, clean or even omit items, when replacement is needed.  When you don't hire a public adjuster it's just like fighting a court case all by yourself against an attorney who has years of legal experience. You are giving the company an unfair advantage at a time when you deserve equal and proper representation and the maximum settlement.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WHEN FILING A CLAIM

Your insurance policy is a contract that has specific items you are responsible for after a loss.  Suffering property damage can be traumatic and overwhelming, but this doesn’t change the fact that you only have one opportunity to correctly file your claim or lessen your duties after a loss.  Once retained, our team will work with you to:

  • Review your policy coverage to determine the benefits you are entitled to
  • Properly file your claim with your insurance company
  • Inspect the loss immediately and thoroughly document your damages
  • Assist you in taking steps to mitigate the loss which is a policy requirement
  • Assist in the preparation of inventories of damaged personal and business property, contents and related items
  • Complete a detailed scope of work and estimate of damages to repair, rebuild or restore your property
  • Prepare your time element losses such as Business Interruption, Loss of Rents, Loss of Use, or Additional Living Expenses
  • Compile all of this information into a professional claims package on your behalf as the burden is on you to do so in most states
  • Serve as your claims consultant and coordinator throughout the process.  We handle all inspections, meetings and communications with the adjuster and the insurance company
  • Professionally “adjust” your claim to negotiate and settle your claim for maximum benefit you are entitled to receive.

When a family loses their home to catastrophe or a business is forced to close for repair, policyholders need prompt and fair payment of benefits owed. We know that when disaster occurs, our clients place their financial futures in our hands.  Our clients are usually the David to the insurance company’s Goliath, and this disparity in power inspires us to work for the largest recovery they’re entitled to receive.  We will not quit until you are made whole and on your way to having your property, your business, and your life back to normal.
